Brushless motors, or “brushless motors”, are motors equipped with a technology that optimizes the power of your equipment.

It also allows for the extension of the lifespan of your equipment, and helps to significantly reduce the risk of breakdowns.

The advantages of brushless motors:

• Better lifespan: The lifespan of a brushless motor is much longer than a generic motor thanks to optimized use; it is 5 to 10 times longer than a universal motor.

• Speed ​​control: With a brushless motor you can adjust the rotation speed of your equipment while maintaining a nearly constant torque.

• Noise level: Brushless motors are much quieter than universal motors. A universal motor has a noise level of 75 dB, while our brushless motors do not exceed 33 dB. This type of motor will therefore be more comfortable for your ears, especially during long work sessions.

• Vibrations: Brushless motors produce less vibration. For example, our motor produces vibrations of less than 2.5 ms² at the arms/hands and 0.8 ms² at the body, while a universal motor will produce vibrations of up to 3.5 ms² at the arms/hands and 1.15 ms² at the body. This significantly lower vibration allows you to work longer on machines equipped with a brushless motor, up to 8 hours. With a universal motor, you would be limited to work sessions of only 4 hours, or even 2 hours depending on regulations.

• Efficiency: The efficiency between a universal motor and a brushless motor is not comparable; a universal motor will have an efficiency of 40%, while a brushless motor will have an efficiency of 97%.

• Water resistance: Our brushless motors are completely waterproof with an IP65 rating, unlike universal motors which are not. This difference lies in the ventilation system. Universal motors have internal ventilation, meaning they have access to the outside of the machine, while our brushless motors have natural ventilation through the housing, so the inside is completely isolated from the outside. Choosing a brushless motor allows you to clean your machines with water without damaging your equipment.
